The Cross photography
wedDing EXPERIENCE
My Faith Shapes
How I See Your Day
My faith in Christ shapes the way I photograph your wedding—with reverence for your vows, care for the people you love, and an appreciation for the marriage beginning before me. From the quiet prayers before your ceremony to the joy of your reception, I look for photographs that hold both the beauty of your celebration and its deeper meaning.
At Cross Photography, an editorial eye meets a love for honest, nostalgic imagery. Thoughtful portraits have their place, as do the fleeting gestures you couldn’t plan: a parent’s hand on your shoulder, a shared glance during Mass, the embrace you linger in just a little longer.
Room to
Be Yourselves
You don’t need to know how to pose or feel naturally comfortable in front of a camera. I offer gentle, clear direction when you need it, with room for your personalities and connection to come through. My aim is to create portraits that feel refined without making you feel like someone else.
When the day moves beyond portraits, I stay attentive to what unfolds. During your ceremony, I respect your church’s photography guidelines and the sacredness of the occasion. Your worship and faith remains the focus; my role is to document these moments with care.
Before You Say “I Do”
Before I photograph your wedding, I want to know the two of you—not just the details of your plans. What are you most looking forward to? Who do you want beside you? Are there family traditions or expressions of faith you especially want remembered? These conversations help me approach your day with a more personal understanding of what it means to you.
Your complimentary engagement session gives us time to become familiar with one another before the wedding. You’ll get a feel for how I guide you, and I’ll learn more about how you connect. It’s an opportunity to slow down, enjoy being together, and create photographs of this season before you begin the next.
FOR THE LOVERS OF FILM

Heirlooms from Another Era
There is something deeply personal about remembering your wedding through film. With 35 mm photography and Super 8 motion pictures, I bring an analog perspective to your celebration—one that complements my digital work while offering a character all its own.
Film is More than an Aesthetic
At Cross Photography, film is more than an aesthetic choice. It is a considered way of preserving the people and moments you’ll want to return to—beautifully imperfect, deeply familiar, and unmistakably yours.
With 35 mm, a thoughtfully composed portrait or fleeting expression becomes a tangible frame of your story. Super 8 adds movement: the sweep of your veil, your first steps together as husband and wife, your parents laughing across the table. Their distinctive textures and nostalgic qualities lend your memories the intimacy of a family archive.
On your wedding day, I notice the way you look at one another as you prepare to receive the sacrament of marriage, the joining of hands before the altar, a veil caught in the wind, and the laughter shared with the people who have prayed for and loved you along the way. These are the moments worth holding onto—not only for how they looked, but for the grace, joy, and meaning woven through the beginning of your life together.

THE PROCESS

STEP 01

Inquire & Connect
Begin by sharing a few details about your wedding day—your date, location, plans, and what you value most in your photographs. If your date is available, we’ll schedule a discovery call to talk through your vision, answer your questions, and make sure we are the right fit.

Reserve Your Date
STEP 02
When you are ready to move forward, I’ll send a custom proposal with your selected collection, contract, and retainer invoice. Once the agreement is signed and the retainer is paid, your date is officially reserved.
STEP 03

Plan With Intention
In the months leading up to the wedding, we’ll thoughtfully prepare for the day together. From building a photography-friendly timeline to discussing family formalities, meaningful traditions, and the moments that matter most, I’ll make sure I arrive prepared to document your celebration with care.
STEP 04

From Wedding Day to Gallery
On your wedding day, you can be fully present with the people you love while I document the sacred, joyful, and in-between moments as they unfold. Afterward, I’ll carefully curate and edit your images, delivering an online gallery that allows you to revisit the story of your day for years to come.
If your celebration will take place in one of these locations, please share your date, venue, and plans when you inquire. I would love to hear your story and explore the possibility of photographing your day.
New England Couples celebrating at Rosecliff in Newport, Rhode Island; Crane Estate in Ipswich, Massachusetts; or Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown, Connecticut may qualify for a special rate.
For weddings in Italy, France, Greece, or Spain, as well as Utah, California, Washington, or Florida, I’m offering select couples a waived wedding photography collection fee, with only accommodation costs to cover!
your questions, answered.
A few details to help you feel informed before you inquire.

Do you photograph weddings outside of the Catholic Church?
Absolutely. While my faith and love for the beauty of Catholic weddings deeply shape the way I approach this work, I am honored to photograph couples from all backgrounds and traditions. Whether you are celebrating a Catholic Nuptial Mass, a Christian ceremony, or a wedding in another meaningful setting, my goal is to document your day with care, respect, and attention to what matters most to you.
Do you recommend working with a wedding planner or day-of coordinator?
Yes! A wedding planner or day-of coordinator allows you, your family, and your vendors to stay focused on the celebration rather than managing logistics. While I will help you plan the photography portions of your timeline and prepare for portraits, a planner or coordinator is the person who can oversee the full day, communicate with vendors, handle unexpected changes, and keep events moving smoothly.
Having that dedicated point person gives me the freedom to focus fully on documenting your day—and gives you more room to enjoy it. A planner or coordinator is especially valuable for managing vendor communication, the overall timeline, transitions, and last-minute details that should not fall to the couple or photographer.
When will we receive our wedding photographs?
Your complete wedding gallery will be delivered within 4–8 weeks of your wedding day. Rather than receiving a small selection shortly afterward, you will receive the complete story at once—thoughtfully curated, individually edited, and ready to enjoy from beginning to end.
This process gives me time to review every part of your day, select the images that best hold its emotion and meaning, and edit them with consistent color, light, and feeling. Your final delivery will also include your 35mm film scans and Super 8 video (if applicable), bringing every medium together in one complete collection that reflects the full experience of your wedding day.
Do you travel for weddings?
Of course! Cross Photography is based in Massachusetts and serves couples throughout New England, with travel available across the United States and internationally.
For a limited time, weddings in California, Utah, or Florida, as well as international weddings in France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, or Greece, your wedding photography collection price will be fully waived! You would only be responsible for airfare, accommodations, and the cost of film.
For weddings in any other destination, please visit my services page to explore domestic and international travel collections.

“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
